Right now I have access to

Electrike
Mareep
Pikachu
Plusle
Joltik
Pachirisu
Stunfisk
Emolga
Magneton
Helioptile
Eevee (I don't have a thunderstone yet though)

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I played through the whole game with no Electric
or ground
or rock

But I'd say Eevee because I'm biased

I was kind of leaning towards Joltik but I hear Galvantula is kind of subpar.

Galvantula will likely be a solid choice this Gen, because of its solid attacking stats and its access to Sticky Web.

Magnezone is always a good choice, especially if you have no way of dealing with steel types.

Stunfisk. It's actually pretty bulky and has good offense. It's underwhelming online, but the selection available is pretty poor.

I'm a big fan of Galvantula, though I admit he's kind of a one-trick-spider. Thunder, [grass-type special attack], Bug buzz, and something else (usually thunder wave for me to help catch things).

Mganeton since Magnezone can counter Skarmory. It has also hig SP. Atk and Defenses to boot.

It's also my favorite Pokemon. :)
Won't change this sig until I get a 2DS and Pokemon X. Really, I won't.
