Let's talk about the exciting subject of the morality of hacking Pokemon. Assume that the game thinks it's legit, otherwise it turns stupid.
Now then, for the egoist, this is not a dilemma at all: hacked Pokemon are much more efficient and thus should be done if you don't enjoy breeding. On the flip side, if you enjoy breeding, the egoist would demand everyone follow suit, for his own satisfaction.
For the utilitarian, this is also not a dilemma, you ought do whatever makes you the happiest. If you enjoy hacking pokemon, go for it; if you enjoy breeding them good for you, but don't demand that others follow suit, as the happiness you receive would be nowhere near the unhappiness everyone else gets from doing something they dislike.
Finally, the Kantian, whom I assume the majority of you are. Now, this is highly variable based upon whatever maxims he or she holds. Still, on this subject I can think of a few; those who demand 'legit' play hold the maxim of honesty closely, such that even though it requires toil and provides the same result, following that ideal is worth it in and of itself. Conversely, those who hack might hold efficiency closely as a means by which you can put your time into more important things.

So which do you fall under? Any criticisms of my analysis?

Where does the morality fall in line when you get Person A who prefers to breed all of his pokemon but doesn't chastise those who hack their own pokemon, and Person B who forces all of his hacked pokemon on other people (potentially including Person A) by tossing them all into something like Wonder Trade?

XD I love Arthur's dad's face. I don't know what you'd call that expression but it's hilarious.

That all being said, for those who just want to battle with perfect pokemon and don't want to deal with anything else, there still remains the option of using that battle simulator for PC where everybody is on even footing; unless your goal is to use hacked pokemon to get as many wins as possible against other people who you're hoping are not using hacked pokemon.
