Actually, everyone in this topic is wrong. Protect is a +4 priority move while feint is +2.

The only damaging moves that can hurt against protect is an already charged focus punch and pursuit.

Feint deals damage, despite Protect or Detect being up. In fact, in Gen IV, it only deals damage if your opponent used Protect or Detect. It got changed in Gen V, to deal damage no matter what

Generation V

Feint can now inflict damage even if the target has not used Protect or Detect and its power has changed from 50 to 30.

Despite being an increased priority move, Feint will lift the effects of Wide Guard and Quick Guard for the remainder of the turn only if they are used on an opposing team. Feint can still break an ally's Protect or Detect, but cannot break a Pokémon's Endure.[1]

Feint specifically has a "Breaks through Protect/Detect" property on it.

It doesn't matter that it's slower.

Even so I wanted to know about damaging moves that can bypass protect, just to clarify.

" Generation IV

Blizzard has 100% accuracy if used while it is hailing. In Diamond and Pearl, it also has a 30% chance of bypassing Protect and Detect, but not in Platinum onward. "
