I've had VERY good luck with it running it on Dragalge. Out of all the times I've ever used it online, I've only missed about 4 times and that's counting dozens of battles.
Definitely a great coverage move!

on victory road when I went up against the alakazam that had it, it sweeped my team not once, not twice but three times, since then I've always hated that move

I never got why people call it 'Focus Miss', in all the times I've used it I have only had it miss once out of every 80 or so times.
Objectivity is a futile effort on the Internet, people will assume a side is taken.

I call it F Miss because it misses more often than it hits...that's why...I just have some crappy luck.

I don't think I've ever connected with it. Ever. That's why my Alakazam has Dazzling Gleam now.

Focus miss is a necessary evil
Contrary to popular belief, my name is pronounced zel-ion, not ze-lion

For many special attackers it's their only means of type coverage but it's unreliable as heck.

80-85% Accuracy please.

Gardevoir should just be able to learn a good fire attack, than Focus Miss wouldn't be a problem.

Focus Miss (and Stone Miss) never hit when I want them to, as expected.
There's a time and a place for mucking around!
