The entire point of the Tingle Tuner was that a second player could aid Link using Tingle.

If the first player were to use the Tingle Tuner, that would leave Link motionless and defenseless.

True but the Classic Controller Pro would be better suited for TWW considering they will have to change it to how SS has it then with only one item out at a time.

Still 3DS could work for that like the GBA did for the original. And the gamepad could be used for items as well as the telescope and Pictobox.

I'm hoping we don't have to use anything other than the gamepad because honestly, I don't really wanna have to spend however much money on a 3DS just to use one item and then never buy another game for it.

Why wouldn't they add the option to use the pro controller for multiplayer?

They could integrate the 3DS as the Tingle Tuner, since the 3DS and Wii U can be used together.

So the person playing the game could use the gamepad, while the second person uses a 3DS.

Player 2 could use the gamepad while Player 1 could use the pro controller.

That wasn't how it was supposed to be used though.
