I'm currently training for a gt6 competition, I would like to know what pb times you guys have on laguna seca.. I'm using the FT-1 vision gran turismo.. But any times of any car would be useful.. Thanks
The more standard and generalized the tuning and Pp are, the better.. so I can compare myself.. To give a benchmark My PB on laguna seca with the Toyota FT-1 vision gran turismo.. Racing soft tyres.. No further tuning or customization.. On level 1 traction control is 1.16.842
You're not going to get very far if you don't want to tune the setup. Are you using manual gears too? Nonetheless i did a brief run with a Mazda Furai and did a 1:14.1 which is probably nowhere near what other people around here would claim they can do. You'll find that turning TC off entirely will give you better cornering as slipping the rear a little allows you to hold a tighter line. Also, ignore the split times; at Laguna they're placed in areas where you should be concentrating on your lines and it's oh-so-easy to get yourself offline because you're wondering how much time you might be up.
If you ran the world, it would probably be on fire right now.
Thanks for the feedback.. However the Ft-1 vision gran turismo we are using cannot be tuned.. Most of the vision gran turismo cars cannot be tuned, The setup is locked.. That is why we chose it, it makes it all about the driver.. Furthermore I will try it with TC at 0 and get back to you
Laguna Seca used to be/is one of my favourite tracks. I shall have to dust off a jalopy and give it a whirl soon. That short chicane behind the rise/crest is quite fiendish and very satisfying when negotiated properly, at least for me it is.
