Do any of the traders in the ships that randomly turn up ever sell decent stuff? Most just seem to sell different elements you can find on planets easy enough. Do any sell blueprints or atlas passes?

Once in a while you'll get one that has some better minerals

They occasionally sell bypass chips, but not blueprints or atlas passes

Atlas passes come from Polo or colonial buildings
It's sweet how many of you are stalking me, and feel the need to express all the emotion you feel towards me. Dogs only bark at cars when they're moving.

I've had to use traders to get Iridium and Aqua Spheres for upgrades, as I was having a b**** of a time finding them myself.

Is it just me, or is iridium stupidly rare, even on planets that have it?

Iridium is one of 3 (maybe 4) minerals that you will find in the asteroid belts around planets.

It's Iridium, copper, thranium and 1 other (Forget right now).

Each planet has it's own element besides the theranium.

Easiest way by far to get it

Only Chroblechium (forget it's name but starts with Chr.....is difficult to find for upgrades really ...and it can be bought from space stations and traders.

Asteroids can also have gold and Nickel.
