What kind of moronic bulls*** are you coming up with now?

If you actually think presenting the factual inadequacies on show in Battleborn constitutes hatred, then you need to go back to school, because what you think is dumb as s***.

Your a****** is so raw you can't even keep people straight. I don't give two s***s about Blizzard games, you f***ing prat.

If you were smart you'd delete that post as any post containing moderation worthy material is itself a violation of the forum rules..
So are posts that say nothing but "reported".

You really need to simply take yourself elsewhere, as you seem entirely incapable of formulating an argument.

You are the only person here who hates and that is simply pathetic.

Gearbox could have done better, they didn't, and they continue to fumble post launch as well.

Maybe next year when all the dlc has finally come out, but the state of the game is so poor that hardly anyone still plays, you can look back on your self effacing bulls*** defense force antics and feel true shame.

Sad thing is, you know it. You know it and that's why you react in this cliched manner.

You try blameshifting, scapegoating, puerile ad hominem bulls***, because you harbor fears.

Justifiable fears that this game ain't nothing but another "coulda woulda shoulda", a game that might have been great had it simply been given more thought and time.

So you fallback on the "ive got nothing approaching a valid counter argument, so im going to call you a fan of some other company"...

Well guess what, philistine, I'm not a fan of any f***ing company, because companies don't give one f*** about any of us.

I don't care about Overwatch or Battleborn, except in that it could have been great.

Except in that I care about a company's misdoings, about them owning up to their lies, all of that.

You can't handle this. So stay the f*** out of it.

Giving you characters to unlock keeps things fresh and interesting. A pick up and play game like Overwatch would bore me to no end. I need progress, I need unlocks. Overwatch won't be a wasteland by any means, but it's more for the type who like playing the exact same thing over and over and over again, with no variation. Pick that same character you kinda know, and attack the enemies.

No strategizing what skills to pick, no selecting the proper loadout before going into battle. The only thing it will have in common will be picking heroes that compliment each other.

Games that don't offer something to unlock and progress towards get boring within a few hours.

Case in point. Destiny. Timed exotics was stupid but it kept people playing for the first two months figuring out what they were and how to unlock it.

Conversely, the division. Only unlocks were more jackets. All the gear is grinded through Phoenix credits or incursion or dead zone, both of which are buggy as hell.

I think it's really a good idea. You have to play different characters to unlock others. Firstly, it's rewarding. Secondly, some characters I played to unlock new ones made me play differently and I took some liking to some of them. So it made me like characters that I wouldn't play otherwise.

I played the Overwatch beta and I played with 3 or 4 characters that I liked and I didn't try the others. When you unlock someone in Battleborn, you just feel like you must try them because they're totally different from one another. In Overwatch, you just play the character you like and that's all.

It is, in fact, a terrible idea. Even in a game like Overwatch that doesn't even have a single player campaign they give you all the characters up front. If anything they'd have a better case for you unlocking characters just to stretch things out and yet they don't and it's a choice for the better.

It's like this game didn't have faith in itself or something so they give you the tedious task of unlocking the roster to keep you busy. Why not just give everyone and let people have it?

There is nothing rewarding about busy work. Games are supposed to be fun. And I disagree with your point. There's characters I've unlocked I haven't even bothered with, because I have zero interest in them. Again it speaks to a lack of confidence in this game.

The task is NOT tedious at all, within 10 hours I had like around 20 characters in Battleborn.

Besides, you don't like unlocking things, ok that's your opinion. But is it hard to imagine for you that some player like unlocking things ? I mean, unlocking things is a founding concept of video games. Who would like to have all the stages unlocked at the begining of a Mario or any platformer ? Who would like to begin a RPG at max level with all the upgrades and items you can have ? No one, because unlocking new stages and unlocking new abilities as you level up are rewarding.

So maybe you like to have all the thing served on a silver plate, maybe you don't like tht type of games that I've mentioned, but a lot of player does. So don't make your opinion looks like a fact.

Wow ONLY 10 hours? Gee golly. And not even all of them within then? lol

And no I totally get unlocking things, but characters isn't one of them. Unlock costumes, gear, titles, etc. All of that stuff is totally fine, but characters has ALWAYS been dumb.

Also you are in the minority. Most players want their characters all unlocked in most games. Imagine buying Street Fighter and only Ryu and Ken were unlocked. It would be f***ing moronic.

The leveling accomplishes nothing and the unlocks are only cosmetic, one of the most useless additions to games in recent memory. And you still don't get to enjoy unlocking all sorts of new characters by doing quests/missions for them.

I'd say unlocking characters is great. When I got the game, I just wanted to play as Caldarius. Though I was saddened to see I had to unlock him, I had an absolute blast playing as Oscar Mike in the mean time. Now, I probably play as Mike more than I play Caldarius. Unlocking characters really lets you experiment. It encourages variety.
Legitimately not Endgame

God forbid you have to unlock the things you want in a video game. God forbid you have to try the other characters first, and MAYBE you'd like them.

God forbid people want to enjoy themselves and have fun. Damn them to hell. If someone wants to play a certain character why force them?

Wow..... Are you kidding me???

That's what makes the game more rewarding and gives u something to strive for.

Plus you get to try out hero's you didn't think you would like and then maybe you find a new main.

So go play overwatch and cod then! if you apparently want everything handed to you like some 5 year old

No it really doesn't. The gameplay should make it rewarding. Not the grind for characters. What kind of ass logic is this?

Lol overwatch blows for that reason and many more

It blows because it gives you the full roster and you can enjoy them all right out of the gate? You're gonna have to do better then that.

Also I love this fallacy that's being used here about "well this game will make you try different characters, because you have to unlock them". Must explain all the Raths, Oscar Mikes, and Montanas I see. Such variety!!! Gee if only the others were unlocked from the get go...

You're b****ing about not seeing character variety in a game with unlockable characters in the first week? And who's to say they dont enjoy those characters over the others they unlocked? You've got some truly awful logic there.
Huge TWEWY, Persona/SMT and One Piece fan. That's all ya need to know.
