It is no surprise that many Japanese gaming companies still live in the 1950s. We see this with smut like DOA, Dragon's Crown, Soul Caliber and yes, even the beloved SF franchise. The question is, what can be done to combat this trend of objectification and over-sexualization of its female characters which ultimately becomes off-putting to would be female players and fans. It also makes us players look like pathetic virgin nerd losers who cannot get a gf. This needs to stop and SF needs to evolve beyond sexist and misogynistic tropes.

Welp I guess I'll start off the blood bath by asking:

Are you trolling, or are you projecting yourself onto the FGC?

What are some good 3DS games to play?

Going out of town this week for a class and need something to play in between study sessions.

Never pre-order a game. Never buy DLC's. Gaming industry is dying because of it. Let us unite and stop the cancer spread. Please, contribute.

He's trolling. First off, it's the SFV board, so you should always assume that a poster's trolling, but I remember that username. He's doing this "ironically."

If you're into retro type games Blaster Master Zero is a good and solid choice. If you're willing to pay for the DLC characters they can put a really strange yet very good spin on how the out-of-tank parts of the game plays. I'm still baffled I can play an awesone revamp of a NES classic as Shantae and Shovel Knight. O.o

Not them all, Kolin, Rose, Makoto, Chun-li and Karin are not sexualised. The thing that catches my attention is the fact of none of the female characters have a husband or boyfriend, like they had no right to have a partner. That is unfair and sexist.
