I don't know if I imagined this or not-but I swear there was a game on the Commodore 64 that was basically a Pac Man rip off with music notes in it!
(I think there was also a paint program in the game or that might be another game I'm thinking of)

dunno about the notes but there were lots of pacman games on C64! Ms pacman.. pakakuda.. dizzy pacman game (forgot title) and many more.

I want to say it started with the word music, but can't find a game with that title. (Or starting with the word music that is)

I think this might of been it, granted it is listed as an Atari 2600 game but could of easily had a port on here:
