One of my gigabyte windforce 670 was on backorder so I just recently cancelled that order. There is another site that has it for the same price, but now I see newegg has the Asus DCU II and I'm not sure which one to get.

I have 1 gigabyte windforce 670 already and am inclined to get the same one to have them matching, but after reading the TPU review of the DCU II, I'm not sure which one to get now.

get another gigabyte windforce.

This. The DCU II(especially the Top edition) is a tad nicer of a card, but a second windforce will probably play nicer in SLI.

Direct CU II cards are just 670s that use a non-reference PCB and cooler.

If you want a DirectCU II 670 get the TOP, they're supposedly binned and use different BIOS

Hmm...I don't doubt your advice and I'm already leaning towards the GB Windforce, but would getting the DCU II be worse in SLI vs the GB?

I had thought that brands wouldn't really matter and SLI will just scale down to lower clock card, or am I mistaken?

You are right in that regards, but when going SLI you might as well just get the same brand/model regardless. Looks nicer anyways.

Too much for you to handle, that's what. Take your face that only a mother could love back to whence you came.
