If I go that route I save 9 bucks?!?
LOL, I had my numbers mixed up. Thought I had been looking at a 3550k, myself, but I deleted the post when I realized it was a 3570k.
I say go for the unlocked processor. Even if you don't have the cooling option now, it would be much cheaper just to get a cooler in the future in order to overclock the CPU, rather than replacing the CPU altogether.
Hence why I recommended 2500k. Same base specs, unlocked multiplier, and should be cheaper. It also overclocks just as well as 3570k, in spite of being an older chip.
On the flip side, would the investment in the 3570k over the 2500k prove any worthwhile benefit, besides a slightly lower wattage with the 3570k?

$10 for a 800-1200mhz increase is pretty nice, really...
Edit: And, IB is, I think, very slightly faster than SB in some things. It also has a better integrated graphics chip, though that certainly doesn't matter in a system with a DGPU anyway. Similar to the difference between Thuban and Deneb, aside from the extra cores.
mmarkster posted... Even though the game runs in 720p, it produces another 480p stream for the New Controller. That's like 1200p!
