A couple seconds faster boot up isn't worth the extra $200 IMO. I spending that $200 toward a second 670

Right, because SSD's are only good for faster boot-ups and shutdowns.

800w for SLI or something? I'm running an OC'd 3570k and a Radeon 5850 + a few HDDs on a 650w PSU, this was coming from a Phenom II so the savings on an Ivy Bridge + a 28nm GPU wouldn't really need that much wattage on a power supply imo.

To clarify a bit, running 2HDDs and 3 fans (2 being on 100% all the time).

Edit 2: Seems like you are gonna SLI.

Well, then tell me what else I would use it for besides my boot drive and a few programs? I honestly don't feel the need to own an SSD at the moment. Convince me why it is absolutely necessary.

Couldn't you say the same thing towards many of your chosen components, especially the RAM and i7? And it's not like you need to spend $200 on an SSD either.
