This is probably a dumb question for you guys.

I like keeping many tabs open for days sometimes, mostly it's youtube pages that have interesting related videos that I want to watch in the future, and I don't want to forget. I'd go to close firefox and it would prompt me, something like "close or save tabs and close," and I'd always pic save and close, so I didn't lose my tabs.

Now when I try to do that, it just warns me "you are about to close X number of tabs. Are you sure you want to continue?"

I have no other programs open, only one firefox window. It used to give me that prompt I am trying to avoid if I had multiple firefox windows open, so it's not that.

Where did my "save and close" option go? I can't find it in the menu.

When you open Firefox again, go to History, and Restore last session.

Assuming they didn't remove the feature:

Help -> Restart Firefox with add-ons disabled

Then checkmark the "Restore all user preferences to Firefox defaults"

I'll give that a try too. Appreciate it.

You could even go to Options > General tab and in the Startup section, change the first option to "Show my windows and tabs from last time" if you want it to always do this.

You could just click the restore button on the home page.
