I plant to upgrade sometime around X-mas. I'll be getting a 3570k & Z77 mobo. When I do I'll just carry over my other components like my 5770 & 8gb of ram. As for changing the rig, what do I have to do? Will I lose everything? Or can I just plob in my current internal HDD into the next sexy mobo & still have everything? At worst, not the OS?
I agree but I don't agree on your multiple troll topics. Therefor I am neutral.

When you change the motherboard, it is best to format as there would be some files leftover that would crash the computer.

Anyway, reformat if you don't want to have issues.
Beans are good for you.
