Only thing I have is keyboard and a mouse. So I need a new monitor as well. Going to mainly use this computer for gaming and graphic designing.
Also is there a large monitor size of 2 regular monitor that can function as dual monitor?
I like the idea of having 2 screen to multi task, however I hate the clunky design aspect of 2 monitors (so basically I want border less dual monitor).
Also does my back up window 7 dvd for my laptop install Window 7 on new system?

I think he will be fine with a 4770k, and then change motherboard to a Sabertooth Z87.

I only picked the 6 Core intel because he mentioned graphic designing but I'm sure he'll be okay with the 4770k as well.

No monitor, lol at that cooler being used on a 3930K.

I also don't know how you only managed to fit a single 770 in a $2000 build.

Stop recommending your own motherboard. It's overpriced for the performance/features it delivers, and people who care excessively about looks pay a premium for it.

A little bit over budget, but you can scrap the Windows 8 if you can reuse your old copy of Windows 7.
