I might go 2011 with Haswell-E if the rumors turn out to be true. I'm alright with my 3570k for now though.

LGA 775 here (Q9650 CPU.) It's the highest CPU my mobo supports, unfortunately. It still does a good job for the things I use it for, though. I'm not someone who buys many super-intensive FPS games. The newest game I have is Torchlight 2 (or Path of Exile if you count the beta as a game.)

With the upgrade to an SSD, i felt my computer is still very responsive, and i don't felt like there is a need to upgrade just yet... And pretty much all games can still run ok, although a new CPU would give me somewhat a boost, but my GPU is also aging (but aging really nice).

i might even last until 2015, well that is the plan anyway.

Am3+ on my windows (gaming) machine and 775 on my linux machine. Also i5 2430m in my laptop whatever socket that is...
