For someone claiming to be a TimePharoh, you are pretty bad at estimating time.

That is US cost right? I think those 200gig something cost around $280. I doubt it is going to be cheap here in Australia. If I see at least 500gb that would cost me more or less $300 then I would buy it.

Well in the UK 500Gb are just starting to come in at around £250-£300. When 1TB drives cost that I will get one. I have a fast 500GB HDD for games at the moment and it is nearly completely full. I don't want to get another HDD as they will be obsolete in a few years and 500GB won't last me that long.

Its hard to say because SSD haven't been going down too much lately. Actually went up recently. Used to be that $.50 a gig was a good deal, now you can't find that unless you get some old model. I would say 3-5 years. The 128-256gb are easily worth it, just for the OS. Put on a game that would benefit from the load times ( Battlefield 3, Skyrim ) and you're good.

SSDs are at just under $1/GB for most models now. I believe Crucial has a 960GB for $500 or so. I'd say another year and a half to two years.
