Trying to play scrabble with a friend on our phones and it requires either origin or facebook. Opted for origin even though I've avoided it like a plague up to this point.

Or at least I thought I did, apparently I've had an account since 2008. Don't know how that happened, must be tied to some game but I don't know which one.

No point to this topic, I was just shocked to discover I already have an account.

All pre-existing "EA Online" accounts were converted to Origin accounts awhile back, when Origin officially launched.

If you EVER played an EA game online, you have an Origin account basically. Save for maybe some GameSpy powered games. How else are they gonna inflate their userbase numbers?

Hmmm... the only multiplayer game I can think of off the top of my head is Bad Company 2 but that came out two years later. Maybe it was the original Bad Company on the 360 that is the origin of my origin account.
