I tried printing a picture went in the edit options and changed the print size. even the size of the picture and still printed the full page.

Are you trying to print it smaller?

You've adjusted the scaling to like 50% normal size?

Have you tried adjusting the image size itself? In properties, change the units to Inches, then reduce the size to whatever you want... just keep in mind this will actually change the image itself, so you might not want to save changes.

Paint is not exactly a terribly powerful program - it doesn't let you easily change the DPI and all that.

thats what i did all it did was make the image look wrose. printed the same size.
yes the image size when printed.

I also use gimp and paint.net. if it will help at all.

If you have paint.net it should be able to do this for you. I wouldn't trust MS Paint for anything beyond the basics.

Don't print from MSPaint. Save the image, open it in Widows Image Viewer and print from there.

This should work (Under Print/Page Setup, change scaling form "Fit to" to "Adjust to" and select a smaller percentage). Not sure why it isn't working for you.
