I am in a need for a new monitor from my current one. MY current monitor is a 21.5" Dell. I am not really sure the route that I want to go and would like some opinions.

I would like to go through Dell.

!) Go with a 3 way 21.5 inch set up by ordering 2 new monitors to go along with my current one. I don't know how I feel about this as I think its cool, but same time I see myself rarely ever using it for most games anyhow so it would be a waste.

Or does anyone have any experience with any of these two;

2)Go with the S2740L(http://accessories.us.dell.com/sna/productdetail.aspx?c=us&l=en&s=dhs&cs=19&sku=225-3894). The price is great and its in the size range I would like to have, reviews for this seem to be excellent.

3)U2713H or HM (http://accessories.us.dell.com/sna/productdetail.aspx?c=us&l=en&s=dhs&cs=19&sku=225-4148) 2560 x 1400 is nice, large screen. But I have some issues with the reviews on its input lag. I currently have a 7950 but this November plan on going up to a crossfire if I go with this monitor.

Not sure why you want to continue to go with Dell monitors, so I'll throw this out there. You mentioned that input lag is a concern, so...

Going with Dell as I have a credit line with the that is about to close due to inactivity, that I want to keep open for the credit score bump it provides, otherwise would love to go with newegg or amazon as i have the money on hand to pay it off right away

The U2713HM is a good monitor and the input lag isn't that bad. May not compete with some of the 120Hz monitors, but it's good for most gaming.

I just got an ASUS PB278Q and find it to be incredible. At very least worth your consideration.

Edit: And I just read that you have to stick with Dell, never mind! :)
