I love this board, but I NEVER buy two codes for this game, or never get buyer's remorse over this game and want to trade it/give it away.

I just buy games for myself. To play. Nobody else.

And before you guys say, "oh, you so don't trade games with friends or buy games for them?"

No. I don't. There like me, and only buy for themselves.

They are your games and you do whatever with them. However, getting a game for free and exchanging it for other you wanted is always good. (For me, at least)

I occasionally buy my brothers/friends games that are on sale on Steam but I don't have the money to buy keys to give away to random people.

Sometimes you get games with your graphics card or cpu you buy and you might want to give it away. Or special offers things like that.

I got a couple free games, but I just kept them. And any game I always want, I buy. If i want something, I just buy it.

Most of the game giveaways right now are the people who got extra keys from the Humble Bundle sale. (5 of the games you get give you one key for Origin, and one for Steam).

Otherwise, I agree with you. I have not traded in any games I've bought (partly because GS gives you ridiculous rates on good games... hardly worth trading in), and I don't trade games I've bought Digital of.

But I give away games a lot of the time because it will make them happy.

This humble bundle gives everyone two copies of a bunch of the games.

So if you bought it, you do have extra copies.

The times when I usually do it are if I've bought a game, and then I later buy a bundle containing that game and get an extra copy.

But if a game is insanely cheap I'll get it for my friend who rarely buys games for himself. I bought him The Witcher when it was like $2
