I'm looking for something that will still operate well in the 8-10 ft range, but has at least a couple more buttons than the standard LMB and RMB.

Does such a wireless mouse exist?

I bought a cheap wireless M+KB combo when I rebuilt my old PC into a gaming PC and it works pretty much anywhere in the house. I don't have any specific recommendations, but I'm sure it exists.

Any wireless mouse should work at that range.

Delayed response yay.

I had a Logitech mouse that couldn't cover the 8-10 feet without freaking out and losing connection.

I'm currently using a Bluetooth mouse, but it's a bit iffy because I didn't have a Bluetooth card, so I'm using a Bluetooth USB dongle. It works okay, for the most part, but only has two buttons. I'd really like something with at least four.

I have a Logitech M705 and it works just fine. 3 thumb buttons. Had it for 3 years now and I'm still using the batteries it came with.

Logitech are indeed garbage. I have a keyboard too they both use the same receiver, if ANYTHING is in the way (like even a foot) it immediately drops connection.
