I could only run the game on low with my last pc in my Sig. It was still barely above 30 fps in most places. That part outside on that bridge brought it to an unplayable slideshow. I was surprised that I was able to get past it. I was thinking it might have been my CPU or possibly my GPU or both.

How does your rig handle Metro Last Light?

Pretty well.

Benchmark runs as smooth as butter too.

Consistently dipping tens of frames below 60 isn't my idea of "smooth as butter".

As long as it doesn't go below 40 fps its not bad, its a single player game even 30fps is fine.

Shocking that framerates below 60 can still be smooth if rendered evenly.

I get the feeling you don't play very many new games.

I do, actually. I pretty much max Far Cry 3, Max Payne 3, Grand Theft Auto IV, Tomb Raider, and some other games.
But not Metro Last Light. It's entirely different.

The game has problems with AMD's drivers.

And yet AMD cards still get better performance somehow.

You know, everyone can pretty much max everything around here, so that's a given...

My last light is stuck at a checkpoint 15 seconds before my only gas mask is empty so essentially a permanent game over.

Guess I shoulda known after my 2033 play ended in similar fashion- checkpoint moments before being shot to death so everytime I load the game save I instantly die before my guy even starts to run.

Use a trainer for infinite health.

thats the power of unoptimized games pal..its not ur machine.

lol @ Diablo 3

LOL that you need a SSD or place on a USB thumb drive to play this game with less hitches and stutters when... on the ps3 and xbox360 which uses a 5400 rpm hdd plays the game flawlessly.
Worst Optimized PC Games
Diablo 3 (SSD Needed), Metro 2033. Crysis 3, Slender The Arrival, GTA4
