My budget would ideally be under $100 but I would be willing to bump it up if it is worthwhile. I was using the razer carcharias and they are garbage and the mic broke so I am back on the market. No mic required, so let me know if anything out there is good.

How are we suppose to help you without knowing that?

Are you using the integrated audio from your motherboard or a dedicated sound card?

If you don't have any special hardware for it, I have been using the sennheiser 429 and they sound great with my integrated audio.

No special hardware for audio. How is someone supposed to measures the depth if their ears? Lol

Pretty well regarded at places like Head-Fi, and only $23:

They fit over my ears, although mine a bit small. Plus, cable is removable and they fold up to be pretty compact.

those sits on the ear, they are on-ear. TC wants over-ear.

not sure what the bass preference and/or open/close, maybe the Audio Technica AD700 (very light on bass, but clear and great soundstage)
