So I have the newest set of drivers that isn't beta, and a GTX 670 and my PC literally went to a black screen and crashed during Battlefield 3...is this the driver issue I hear about?

It might be, but probably not.
Did you try underclocking by 13mhz? A lot of Kepler cards are shipped borderline-unstable.

How do I go about doing that? Through MSI?

Will that be a big hit on performance? What about the memory clock?

I just wanted to let you know that if you don't know the answers to those questions, you should not be operating a computer.

Because I want to be sure I don't screw something up? I don't overclock at all, so these are valid questions.

Yeah, just use afterburner.
Performance hit will likely be ~1% or less. Don't bother touching the memory clock.

Thank you so much, alright so I threw in -13. So that's enough to stabilize the card?
