Since there's a new console generation I'm assuming I'll have to upgrade my PC soon.. It's an i5 2500k, GT560ti, so it's not bad by any means, but I'm probably going to want something better.

All you have to worry about is upgrading your GPU.

I'm not really a fan of ATI because of the driver support (used to have an HD4870). Any speculated "bang for the buck's" coming from Nvidia?

That was 5 years ago, but it's your loss if you elect to have fewer options.

Agreed, it is stupid to dismiss them for how they were years back. Have ATI gotten better with their driver support?

It's AMD, now. Drivers have gotten better. Crossfire support is improving, also, but it took a while.
