I don't know how I ever functioned without a dual monitor setup.

I may never leave this desk again. Question, though. Is HDMI a lower visual quality than DVI? My monitor didn't come with a DVI cord, only a VGA (which my GPU doesn't even have a port for) so I'm using an HDMI cord an I can tell a drop in the quality. Also, my new monitor is about a half inch smaller than my previous one, is that why the screen doesn't go all the way to the edge of the monitor?

Use CCC or Nvidia control panel to mess with the settings.

Thanks for that. Is the HDMI cable the reason the card is limiting the monitor to 1680 x 1050?

EDIT: Nevermind. Looked around and it could be an HDMI licensing issue or some other bs. Looks like I'll be getting a DVI cord sooner rather than later.

If I went back to a single monitor I would be very, very sad.

I always thought that HDMI is the best quality you can get. I could be wrong though.

Nope, you're correct. Dual Link Display Port might be a lil better for some stuff.

DVI provides the same quality as HDMI, the only thing is the lack of sound.
