I'm planning to get a gaming rig, but I want it to last me a while, about 3-4 years.

this is what I'm looking towards getting.

keep in mind I'm pretty new to PC gaming, any help and suggestions would be very Much appreciated.

If you're confident with moving down to medium or low, such a PC will probably be fine four years at least. It's generally the graphics card that ages most quickly.

The only concern with that bundle is the $200 uATX (micro ATX) motherboard in a full tower case. uATX mobos are meant for tiny cases, a full tower can fit a better full ATX mobo for $200.

If you have ~$1500 to spend, I'd recommend something more like this:

And then get a second graphics card:

And in ~5 years, get two new graphics cards and you should be set for another ~5 years.
