Upgrading from the XFX Radeon HD 7770 to the MSI GTX 760 Gaming, in all likelihood:

Best GPU I could find in the price range. I COULD go for a 7970, but something about the GTX 760 is more appealing to me. I guess because it saves me enough money to replace my faulty RAM.

I think the GPU will allow for Medium/High settings, 1080p at 60+ FPS easily, for at least a couple of years, yeah?

Are you willing to overclock your card? Because if you are then the 7950 offers better performance for less money. Even if you don't want to change the voltage.

Should be good. I would still suggest the 7970.

I have a 600W PSU to work with. I'm not sure if the 7950 OC'd will run as cool as I'd like it to.

I've been considering the 7950, but down the road I also plan on changing motherboards from an ASROCK Pro3 to this MSI board...

Not sure if that really matters but yeah.

I'm pretty set on the GTX 760. But out of curiosity, what 7950 variant would you recommend?

Or some other model?

Also, I do a lot of video editing and rendering in Sony Vegas, if that matters.

The Sapphire is probably the best. Wait for the Sapphire card that's out of stock to be restocked. It's around $210 AR or something and it should be the best.

The MSI one has a reference cooler (which are crap) and the others are unnecessarily expensive. Here, http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814202026

I don't recommend the XFX Double D either. The fans are crap

I would pick the MSI Twin Frozr over the Sapphire.
