Read topic titile.

how do i do that?

Basically its a series i have on avi files and i have changed their names accordingly BUT thats only a menu change whenever i run the files with VLC vlc does not list the same name...

under the files property and details theres 2 word, title and name, only name has changed, how would i change title?

or rather how do i edit in there at all.

Any help is appreciated.

I did a quick search for "avi tag editor" and came up with this:
http://abcavi.kibi.ru/

It sounds like it'll do what you want.

In Explorer, right click on your file->Details tab

You can change the Title, Description, add a rating, etc...

Was the movie file open in a player at the time? If the file is in use, that will lock it.

Or, check to see if the file is read-only. If so, uncheck that. That will also lock it.
