I went from the same speeds on AT&T to Time Warner and I couldn't be happier.

I do everything on a 4G line that ranges from 6-12mbps. I have no problems.

I have been using 1mbps dsl not even that most of the time and I haven't killed myself.

You just don't know the joy of 50 mbps. You wouldn't be able to go back if you ever upgraded.

The network need to have at least 2Mbps of upload speed to be stable for online gaming.

Ultra high speed internet is great for downloading stuff (steam, etc) but gameplay wise, it's pretty much bottlenecked server side.

Fair enough. It's nice for downloading games from Steam quickly, though.
