Played these recently and they were all quite good in their own way.

Also played through The Witcher series and that's another that stands out as good stories.

I was pleasantly surprised by Gone Home. Usually I dismiss indie games as crap, but this one was different.

Are you asking for new games? PC games (assuming not as you mentioned LOU)?

Silent Hill 2 and Killer 7 are two of the best stories in game history. Pathologic is amazing, but the broken translation (not an exaggeration, it is 100% broken and can be unintelligible).

Walking Dead I guess, I mean it's only story

Binary Domain had a cool story, pretty repetitive robot shooting gameplay though

^When I played Pathologic as the Harispicus, the translation was pretty good. Apparently different people translated each of the three campaigns.

what was your take on alan wake? I liked it and at the same time didnt like it. Feel too much like a movie, but at the same times, its what kept me going.
