I'm going to sell my current rig (sans GPU) to a friend to offset the cost of a new PC. I'm basically wondering if buying a second 760 to go SLI with would be worth the money/heat/TDP increase.

At that resolution, I think it may be overkill. If it were me, I'd try and sell the 760 and get a 770, 7970, or a AMD 9xxx in October.

Well, aside from having only 2GB of VRAM, 2 of the 760s outperform a Titan at roughly half the cost, so it's pretty sweet. Overkill? Maybe, but it's not like you're dropping $800 or $1000 either. Huge bang-for-the-buck with 760s in SLI.
