I have a 7ms, no ghosting issues with mine.

i have one and love it and have not noticed any ghosting either. the only bad thing about the u2312hm is they do have some backlight bleed.
i still haven't found what i'm looking for...

Well im going from a 15 ms 1280x1024 19inch, think regardless of design flaws itll be a welcomed upgrade

8ms is fine. In fact, for a 60Hz monitor, you could go as high as 16ms and not have any problems. Consider that there are 1,000ms in a second, that a 60Hz monitor shows 60 frames each second, and then do the math to determine how long each frame lasts.

You're actually more likely to have ghosting issues with a super-low response time, because monitors often use tricks to achieve such low ratings.

You dont start noticing ghosting until you hit like 30 or 40+ MS.
