I'm running the game in DX9 (I know DX11 is broken in AC) and recently tried a second playthrough

on my first playthrough, I never got less than 40fps.....now with the same settings, I'm capping at 37fps and averaging around 17-18

what gives? all my other games are fine (Lords of Shadow and Mortal Kombat are the most recent I've played and both run flawlessly at 1080p without even a hiccup)

I even doublechecked AC's settings to make sure. AA is off, filtering is off, detail is high, resolution is 1270x720....same as last time

Bad port.

Theres some ini fixes out that people swear by, but I haven't tried them. I get massive fps drops with my 680.

Because now it's an open world game instead of small sections at a time? Yeah, it's a lot more demanding. Turn your physx off too, they screwed that up along with the DX11.

DX11 & PhysX run fine on my 670. Only about a third of the way through the game but no issues yet.

I played Batman AC on high settings on a 5-6 years old system. I averaged 50 FPS or so.

The game itself is not demanding, but it has compatibility issues.

The game seems to **** up only when flying around the city and a chunk of it loads. I shouldn't have to lower settings (other than 8X MSAA) with a 500.00 GPU.

Nice specs TC. Also Castlevania is really easy to run. Getting 150-300fps no problem w/o vsync on. Same with Mortal Kombat.
