The game ran fine on low in my toshiba satellite (core duo2 and integrated). Also, if you install the last oblivion patch the config menu will have a "super low" setting which disables all lightning effects for double performance. You can use it as a last resort, but its guaranteed to run.

What?!? He doesn't need that... He can run Oblivion fine on max out settings on that thing and get 60+ FPS. Are you all delusional? That game is like what 7 years old? Any current system today with integrated graphics will easily run Oblivion. A bet even an HD 2500 could easily do it.

Yeah his I5 with HD 4000 will surely decimate a chip from 8 years ago. A HD 4000 can run skyrim fine on medium.

The topic creator's i5 doesn't even have a HD 2000.

It's just a plain old Intel HD.

OH my bad. I didnt realize there was just a normal one. Yeah that does sound pretty bad.

I just assumed since he had an I5 that he would have an HD 4000 in it. I thought TC didn't really know and just said HD meaning he didn't know the number after. I didn't realize there was a normal version of the IGPU with out a number on it. I just never seen an I5 CPU with that though. I thought they all came in HD 4000 or maybe 3000 as well. Interesting...

If people are saying that you will ahve problems to even load Oblivion then you will not even load Skyrim. Frankly You cant run much on it. Your system just isn't mean for gaming.
