I only have one option for internet >3Mbps here... I think I pay somewhere around $40 for 15Mbps. $90 total including cable. And it's supposed to increase in a year, but I'm not gonna let that happen.

Florida...have comcast 50-55 mbps $50 unlimited bandwidth

$35 for 7 mbps....my city's ridiculous.

Cost of living doesn't determine it. It just matters who or how many ISP's you have a choice from. In my town there's no competition. We used to pay $90/month for 1Mb 8 years ago. Even now it's $60 for 2.5Mb.
