I have a 7850... I won't be getting a new one until the end of next year at the earliest and I plan on getting something high or ultra high end by then.

I'm not much of a graphics whore, so my 670 should last me a good 4-5 years until I would want to build a new computer.

I've got a 7970 Ghz so maybe what ever comes like 2 generations after a 9970. I might get a second 7970 Ghz eventually

Are you going to build a whole new PC at that time?

Likely an 870 or 880. Voted mid high.

If its not a 60% or better increase over my 670 I might wait on the 9xx series.

Probably waiting for yet another year

Yup My 580 still hasn't run into anything it can't handle at max or very near max with a 2-4x AA/FXAA at 1080p @60fps. No point in upgrading just to make the benchmarks look good when in real games I would barely notice the difference.
