60 multiplayer only with bugs and crappy framerates. Hopeful that a driver update will help but I doubt it.

Buggy, unoptimized, no single player campaign to be had.

Went back to ARMA 2 because I can't seem to get stable performance out of it. It may look better and have more features than ARMA 2, but the sluggish performance is keeping me from enjoying it.

Arma 3 is amazing if you can get at least 45-50 fps IMO.

In Altis I have been averaging 30 or less which is unacceptable for me. Every game is heavily scripted and ive seen most servers allowing mods which ive heard causes fps spikes.

God forbid a chopper rolls up, fps drops into the 20's ffs. This game is not worth 59.99 for damn sure, at least in its current state.

That's surprising really. It runs much better than arma 2 on my machine with better draw distances. I only aim for 30fps with these sim like games though. During intense online battles, I can drop to around 25 fps but usually its really stable. I did install it on my SSD though so maybe that helps with the texture load.

Singleplayer campaign is being added over the next 3 months with one pack being released each month. Even still, it's a fully functional online experience so far. I have about 40 hours into the beta already and enjoyed just fooling around in sandbox modes...

Also proper artillery is OP! (note the 3 rounds in the air with ETA's for their impact)

arma games are basically just an engine with a few scenarios to show off what it can do. the real fun comes from the mods.
