Star Citizen. It's going to make all the console users jealous.

This. 8 gigs of ram is required for minimum spec and a gtx 770 for "medium" settings. LOL, that's what I'm talking about.

When it becomes profitable for a studio to drop a hundred million dollars on a game for PC only.

This.

Yup pretty much. Developers need to put games on as many platforms as possible to make money with the bloated game budgets/marketing for AAA titles these days.

As long as games still come to PC. I don't care if they are exclusive since exclusivity is something fairly underwhelming these days. I do miss when exclusives truly defined a console. PS3/360 just feel like the lack an identity beyond there base feature set, which are both very similar. Not many games that make me go "oh ya now THAT was what the 360/PS3 was all about".

I can't find anything like Ace Combat 6 or Forza on PC. I mean there's other great flying and racing games, but not like those two. And there's small gems, some of them simply remakes and old games which technically could be emulated on PC, but emulated REZ or Castlevania SOTN won't look or sound as good on PC as it does on the 360. That said, there's much on PC that you can't find on consoles either, like Scoregasam or many other indie games.
How many mods does it take to screw in a light bulb? "the lightbulb is technically not violating the TOS so we're powerless to do anything about it"

I think you're confused, TC.

AAA = Crap
Indie = Awesome

IT's a Kick Starter game, done by Chris Roberts (Wing Commander) so I'm looking forward to it. Use to love playing the Wing Commander games on PC , one of my favorite series.

I think Kick starter will give the PC some decent exclusives for sure. Although most are still niche titles I'm sure they'll get a following, just like that Star Citizen mentioned. Can't wait for Wasteland 2 myself.

I agree with the Kickstarter, because a lot of the people trying to get their project started are old school developers from the past that got lost in the corporate slaughter of PC gaming.

The thing is it will still be more profitable to release a product on console and PC.
Everything's shiny, Cap'n. Not to fret.
