Recommended:

OS = Windows 8 64-Bit
Processor = AMD Six-core CPU / Intel quad-core CPU
Memory = 8 GB
Graphics Card = AMD Radeon HD 7870 / NVIDIA Geforce GTX 660
Graphics Memory = 3 GB
Hard Drive = 30 GB

My PC barely meet the recommended requirements. lol

Yeah, microsoft also released Halo Spartan Assault only for windows 8. Just like they released Halo 2 years ago just for vista. I wouldn't buy windows 8, heard too many negative things about it.

All I need is a graphics card update. I was already planning to upgrade to the new AMD line, if they turn out to be any good.

I would not worry about it too much if you have windows 7 and a 2GB Vram GPU. Notice that the recommended cards hardly have any 3GB versions, and the minimum requirement are virtually identical to that of BF3.

I know Vram is the current buzzword, possibly fueled by the next generation consoles. But I still have to see how it affects things. Current games that can use a lot of Vram even at 1920x1080 at high graphics settings, do scale quite well for lower Vram as long as you do not increase resolution.
