That's of course, if GabeN won't allow SteamOS to work on PC's natively.

"Users can alter or replace any part of the software or hardware they want."

It's a free download, you can install it on whatever you want.

A living room machine is a computer in your living room, so I'd say it's going to run native on just about any hardware.
