Microsoft already has something like that and it's awful.

MS already tried that, sucks.

Nintendo'll never leave their home base.

Sony would suck hard and fail at it, because they've no experience in a competitive gaming client platform. PSN has all games $60, even if they're years and years old, because they CAN.

What would be the point of MS and Sony? Most of the games on their platforms are already on PC.

MS tried Games for Windows Live... and it sucked hard.

Sony can't even handle PSN just for its own devices.

Nintendo doesn't know how to Internet.

None of them have anything resembling a solid grasp on the way pricing structures should work in the digital era. If anything, there needs to be a Sony Store and Nintendo Store added TO Steam (MS is already doing their own thing with the <sarcasm>amazing</sarcasm> Windows Store), so an established player can help ease them into the much smaller profit margins but much greater number of units sold that they should be aiming for.

Why do you type with <co de> all the time?

I probably could have told you back in 2009.

I've since really forgotten my original reason. Now it's just tradition.

Also, <co de>

EDIT: damn invisible space doesn't work with code tags

<code >

EDIT2: doesn't work with normal font either

I would absolutely try them if they released them. If everyone released every game with something like Steam on PC the console wars would end. It'd be great.

And MaxCHEATER64, funny how twice today I've read people calling you out for (obnoxiously) writing in code, when I've seen you doing it for a long time and most people just ignoring you.
