Just ignore that post. He's one of those people who think that because they don't use something that nobody else does either.

The company I work for still scans, prints, copies and faxes documents. Hell we still type State documents using a typewriter. Lmao

Most USB devices don't even hit the USB 2.0 speed limit. The only things that might benefit from USB 3.0 are probably large external hard drives or SSDs.
