So someone is offering this for $50USD:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16829102048

I currently use onboard audio on an asus p5q pro (Q6600 days).

Wondering if I should pick that SBZ up or use up a $25 Amazon giftcard to pick something up.

Also currently using a cheapass Rosewill webcam as my mic, and the SBZ comes with its bar mic.

Thoughts?
So the last vid card i asked about was crap. Is this better? -chia

The mic is garbage. Don't get it for that. It has a nice suite of tools for analog mics though so you can easily buy a decent directional one. The sound isolation with the bidirectional mic is a laugh and hardly works at all.

That said the card itself is awesome. I have the same one (Zx actually but its the same). For 50, I'd buy it. Can't see it being replaced...well ever.

The guy selling it has posted an ad for it 8 times in the last 4 days on CL.
Started at $60, then went to $75, then $60 and now $50.

I wont be able to test it before buying it.

That's a risk you're going to have to decide on. I personally don't trust anyone on those sites so I wouldn't buy anything I couldn't test.

Which is why I'm leaning towards a 25-30$ sound card from amazon with the gift card now. I'll send him an email and inquire as to why he is selling it for $50.

I have the Titanium HD. All I can say is that most people won't buy it because of the price, but it work well for sure.

I impulse bought it last year and it sounds really nice.

I have an issue with the sound changing after a while but all I have to do is go into settings, change a setting then change it back and it's fixed. Don't know what that's about.

The sound is good but the bass is high. Sounds really nice once you get your settings right.
