I would also be appreciative if one of you could give me an idea for a nice gaming monitor, but dont take money out of my $1000 for it.

You should wait for the new AMD cards to come out some time in October though since the R9 280X is a rebranded 7970 GHz edition for only 299.99

His build is the best so far in terms of value. Derp's is fine too but it doesn't allow CPU overclocking.
