I was thinking about getting the GTX 760 for around $250. What would you guys recommend? I have a 500 watt power supply.

I can't decide between these two if I do choose the 760 ones:

I'm planning on getting a GTX 760 and this is one I would choose:

It's much smaller than all the other GTX 760 I've seen it's from a good brand.

When it comes to variations, is smaller better? I don't understand the first thing when it comes to all these different brands, variations, and things like superclocked. I really just want one that'll let me run future games at high/max FPS (like Thief 2014)

Apparently everyone says the MSI one is the best:

The 760 is a very good value, and it shouldn't come close to taxing your PSU.

If you want something a little more powerful for not too much more, you could always get a 7970 (I just saw one going for $293.)

It'd be good to know what kind of 500W PSU you own (brand and model), for all you know it's a 250W timebomb with a 500W sticker on it.

Ok, no issue there then! A GTX 760 would be a good card within your price range. You might also consider a Radeon 7950, it comes with three games.
