Agreed 100%. Too bad the Wii remake wasn't released in North America. Although, considering how bad the new British dub was, maybe that wasn't a bad thing.

Play this game in the dark, alone with surround sound and you will are guaranteed to feel at least somewhat, uneasy. To me, that is what makes a game "truly" scary. The atmosphere and ambiance is just incredible. Combined with a First Person view, it makes for a terrifying experience.



P.S. - Lol at Dead Space. Great game but not scary at all. As soon as I realized I could stomp enemies like street thug on steroids I felt invincible.

Hmm... not that much horror, but I'd say 999. Sometimes it's really tense and scary.
