To emulate some games you need at least 4ghz. Hell mgs3 still lags with my 3570k at 4.5ghz at some points.

My 3570k at 4.4 is pretty choppy in Persona 3: FES, it's fine 99% of the time but every time I cast a spell it drops to 40, and there was one zone that was just constantly in the 30-40 range. That's the only game I've tried, I'm pretty disappointed so far. I'm probably just going to end up playing it on my PS3.

AMD CPU's are terrible for emulation in general because all the emulators are coded for Intel instruction sets SSE3 and SSE4 etc.
